THE PROJECT

The proposed Elkhorn Project has three main components:

• Historic Lodge Restoration: The Lodge and surrounding buildings will be restored under the Elkhorn Project. The main lodge will re-open with a restaurant & bar, banquet hall, gift shop and 24 guest rooms.
• Adventure Park: The Elkhorn Adventure Park is a 50-acre European style outdoor recreation area with a focus on affordability and education. The park will feature 12,000 feet of groomed ski trails,  a tubing hill and a terrain park. Summer attractions include a zip-line, alpine coaster (year-round), mountain biking, hiking and horseback riding. A ski school will offer lessons year round.
• Cultural Center: A new cultural arts center will be created for Estes Park with a performing arts center and living history museum located in a park-like setting along Fall River.
